HP OmniBook Ultra Flip 14 inch 2-in-1 Laptop Next Gen AI PC 14-fh0000 (9F2C2AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

I purchased two new Omni laptops both the same. One is great and the other is nothing short of a lemon. For a week now it has been a disaster and finally it has stopped with a TPM warning. Naturally I tried to call HP for support but now find out that in Australia there is no support on weekends or public holidays. Surely HP has support centers overseas that could help because that's where you end up normally. Wished I had never brought the thing and should have stayed with my good old Spectre. Very disappointing support HP.

Hi @4638

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

I’m really sorry you’re dealing with this TPM warning issue—it’s frustrating when a brand-new laptop runs into problems like this.

Let’s go through some steps to troubleshoot and resolve it.

1. Check TPM Status

  • Press Win + R, type tpm.msc, and hit Enter.
  • If TPM is enabled, you should see its status. If it’s not found, move to the next step.

2. Enable TPM in BIOS

  • Restart your laptop and press F10 repeatedly to enter BIOS.
  • Navigate to SecurityTPM Device Security.
  • Ensure TPM State is set to Enabled.
  • Press F10 to save changes and exit.

3. Reset TPM

  • Open Windows Security (Win + S → search for "Windows Security").
  • Go to Device SecuritySecurity Processor DetailsClear TPM.
  • Restart your laptop.

4. Update TPM Firmware

  • Visit HP’s support page and enter your laptop model.
  • Download and install the latest BIOS and TPM firmware updates.
  • Restart your laptop after installation.

5. Run TPM Troubleshooter

  • Open SettingsUpdate & SecurityTroubleshoot.
  • Select Additional TroubleshootersWindows SecurityRun the troubleshooter.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you need further clarification. 😊
