Whenever I am connected to the internet, after sometime, I have no control on the cursor / trackpad.
random pages keep on opening up
current pages keep on minimizing and expanding
I use this laptop for my online school and use the zoom app, i am unable to work / study, suddendly youtube will start, etc
i have the latest McAfee anti virus licensed version installed and all windows security settings are in place.
Please help me on this issue - how to resolve ?

From your description, it sounds like all the issues are Browser-based, implying that the Browser you use has been hacked.
The immediate step is to go into the Browser you use and check for any extensions or add-ons and remover or disable them all. If that stops the issues, then some site you visited downloaded these onto your PC.
IF that does not disable them, then there are files hidden on your PC and neither we, nor anyone else, has a way to find and remove all of these.
Your only solution then would be a complete factory reset -- and that removes everything from your PC, including all your settings, personal files, and applications -- which you should not save because the apps and files could be infected.

Hello !!
Thank you for your reply...
I have re-installed windows.
I have not installed chrome and zoom
I have not added any browser extensions.
Still I am facing the same issue...
Also, I am facing this issue even when my laptop is not connected to the internet.
So, I am assuming there is a virus...
Please advise...
Regards,
Sudhir
