I have HP Pavillion dv7Notebook. File Explorer never finshes opening and says "working on it". I can't acces any files. This just started, possibly due to an update to Windows. I ran operating system check and it said there was a problem with Windows updates but it said it was fixed. No other issues were found.

I recovered to a previous set point and it works fine now. Google Chrome stopped working though and I had to reinstall it.

Thanks.

The Community can not provide any assistance without some details ...

So, please provide the following:
1) detailed model number of the PC
2) OS version the PC is running (i.e., Win7, Win8x, Win10)
3) Age of the PC

Once you provide the needed details, someone will reply.

OK, so since the DV7s did not come with Win10 preinstalled, how recently did you do the Win10 Upgrade?

Also, is this a recent problem? And if so, how long has it been happening?
