HP Dragonfly 13.5 inch G4 Notebook PC (6Q256AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

My device had a broken mainboard, which was replaced as part of the warranty today. After the repair everything seems to be working again but my finger print sensor is boiling hot. Probably 70°C, it's near impossible to touch it without getting burnt.
It cools down, when the device is off.
Deactivating the finger print sensor in the hardware menu of windows doesn't change anything.

Is it another hardware issue?

Hi @DavidDoh

it's probably a hardware problem, should never have those temperatures.

Yeah, agreed, so I'll have to ask the repairman to swing by again...
