Product: HP ProBook 440 G7 Notebook PC IDS Base Model
I am not able to add my fingerprint to unlock my device.
It says " this option is not available" and "we couldn't find the fingerprint scanner compatible with windows hello fingerprint."
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the driver and updating my windows.
The driver is Synaptics FS7605 Touch Fingerprint Sensor with PurePrint (TM) with exclamation mark and states error code 43.
I also tried enabling biometrics in the group service and restarting multiple times but nothing seems to work.
