Hi,
I was installed new firmware update, which is ver F.90. It contains critical error: random power off (with a scary pop sound inside the motherboard), it happens on both Windows and Linux. Windows captured the firmware's error, and linux found [Firmware Bug]: Invalid critical threshold (0). If on Linux (Ubuntu 18.04 and 19.04), it comes with black stripes or red zebra and the whole system fully freeze, only the screen is on but nothing response.
I tried to rollback the firmware but the BIOS throw back the error: Unable to open BIOS signature file. And previous posts on the community are mostly unsolved.
Hopefully HP devs can fix this firmware update's bug ASAP, this killing my laptop a little bit everyday.
