Forgot login password

This is a notebook that has a password on it I cannot remember to log in

To reset forgotten HP laptop password you need to reset the computer to the factory settings. 

Try this step: Click here If this fails to reset the password. You would have to talk to our Support Engineers in order to get the password reset disk. I would request you to contact our Support and our Support Engineers should be able to sort this out.

• Select the product type.
• Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.
• Select the country from the drop-down.
• You should see the HP support number or Chat option listed
