Free up space on HP Stream

So I go to this link (on another computer) and save the download to the jump drive? And just insert in the stream and open it and it will automatically delete and replace? Thank you!!!!!

so I got a 16GB drive. do I go to a different computer, download the windows 10 recovery and then put into the stream? will it take over from there or do I have to do something to erase the old and replace with the newly downloaded OS?

I don't really understand how to boot from a USB rather than what it does automatically...

Yes insert the 16 gb thumb drive into a different computer and go to the page I linked. Go to the part that instructs how to use the tool to creat installation media. Make it. Follow instructions here.

You need no Key Code. Windows will just activate. Let us know if any of this is difficult for you.

please forgive me. I downloaded onto the flash drive but when I put in the Stream it pops up with a file folder. What do I do? The link you sent said it will automatically install...

how do I boot fro external drive? nothing pops up, no commands to follow.  Just normal screen.

You need to tap esc as you power up to bring up a menu....F9 allows you to select boot device. You must do this from a powered off state. Insert thumb drive. Hit power button and IMMEDIATELY start tapping esc.
