HP Spectre x360 - 13-ae045tu
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My Laptop HP Spectre came up with Windows 10 Pro pre-installed. I want to do a fresh installation of Windows 10 pro. What are the ways to do it?

If I download ISO of Win 10 from Microsoft site will it be registered/activate in my laptop? After making bootable flash drive, Can I install OS by completely deleting partitions (currently there is system (System reserve partitions along with C: drive).

I want to convert the disk from MBR to GPT (as this is the newest partition style). Any recommendation of doing this?

You can mount downloaded ISO file as DVD (no need DVD drive) and run Setup file. And you can do

(a) a fresh clean install, clear everything or

(b) a fresh install but keep all programs and user files

Then you can install the drivers and available software you need from your PC's support page. Normally few Windows 10 updates can install nearly all drivers for you.

You can convert from MBR to GPT before or after the clean install.

W10 will automatically activate once you are connected to the internet using the key embedded in BIOS of your machine.

Regards.
