ProBook 6460b
Other

The ProBook 6460b that I have has had its original operating systems deleted. It is prompting me to install an OS to the hard drive. I currently use a MacOS on my Macbook Pro, which is my main laptop. I purchased the ProBook so I could learn the windows OS. As a student of graphic design I want to learn how to operate both Mac and Windows OS, but when it arrived I found that it had no OS software. I want to know if it is possible to download a windows OS using my Macbook then transfer it to my HP ProBook? I would be very grateful for any instructions anyone may provide.

@JahMez

If what you're asking about is INSTALLING Windows on the laptop, then yes that can be done -- but you can't download it to your Mac and then transfer it to the laptop in any form that will work.

What might work is inserting an 8GB USB stick into your Mac, then going to the Microsoft page linked here, and then using the option to create install media using the USB stick: Windows 10 download

When that is done, you can boot your laptop from the USB stick and install Windows from it.
