Product: HP 230 Wireless Mouse and Keyboard Combo

I just shut down my computer. Disconnected my fully-functional Logitech wireless keyboard. Put the dongle into the computer and botted up. They keyboard and mouse connected, but the function keys do not seem to work. Specifically the F6, F7 and F8 keys do nothing at all.

 

On my Logitech keyboard they control the volume on the speakers.

 

How do I get them to work. I sill have time to return the keyboard.
