@Zvih, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding the non-functional keys!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Check the Fn Lock:

  • Press Fn + Esc to toggle the function keys on or off.

Use BIOS Settings:

  • Restart the laptop and press F10 (or Esc + F10) to enter BIOS.
  • Navigate to Advanced > Device Configuration (or a similar section).
  • Look for Action Keys Mode and enable it.
  • Save changes and exit.

Check Keyboard Drivers:

  • Open Device Manager (Win + X > Device Manager).
  • Expand Keyboards, right-click, and update/reinstall the driver.
  • Restart the laptop.

Could you please let me know the model of your HP laptop? That way, I can guide you with the most accurate steps for your device.
