G56-129 MW
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I know this is an old laptop, but I looked on the HP site for a recovery disc and all it said was it has expired. Can anyone tell me how to obtain a recovery disc, please? Everything is working, except the drive is corrupt. I was able to get into the BIOS and checked the disc, it is good. Memory is good as well. I don't want to throw it away, I can always use a laptop for something.

Hi, @Fan_of_Zappa

 There is no such model as a G56-129MW.  I believe you have your last two letters transposed.

You can order W7 64 bit recovery media for your G56-129WM from this non-HP vendor at the link below.

@Fan_of_Zappa

Sorry, but HP has stopped carrying Win7 recovery media, so you can't purchase this from HP anymore.

Thank you Paul!

You were correct, they were transposed. I was reading the S/N upside down and.... well, you get the story. LOL
