G60-235DX
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Win 10 install always fails. MSFT support says I need new drivers. When will drivers be available?

Info: T4200 dual core @2GHz, 32 bit OS, x64 CPU.

Instructions or concerns on installing 64-bit OS would be appreciated.

Regards,

Williamz

All you can do is keep checking the HP website for driver updates.

Unfortunately that is older hardware, I doubt HP will ever write new drivers for it.  😞

I just updated a (hp) Presario C300 (Compaq C304NR) to win 10 with no trouble at all. This hardware is much older and has worked with everything from XP through 8.1 and now 10.

It seems either drivers were written or were not needed so I do not understand the driver troubles in general.

I also have a g7-1317cl that doesn't upgrade either. Do you think drivers will be available for it?

Thanks for the feedback. Regards, Williamz

Dear Williamz, I would like to know if you still have this old notebook(C304nr), because my father in law just handled me one of the same model.

I would like to know if you managed a way to install more than 2GB of memory on this model, and how!

Best regards,

Carioca Malcriado
