Hi, I recently found this old ProBook in my closet, i was given permission to own it. Currently im doing a maybe regretful decision of trying to install Windows 11 24H2 even tho it's new and I accept the risks. This is mainly a learning experience and I won't use this laptop much anyways. I figured I'd give it a shot
Currently upgraded to Windows 11 22H2
16 Gigs of Ram
Crucial BX500 SSD
I am having trouble with getting the system to detect GPT partition which is supported on 24H2 and I need it to work to my belief. UEFI boot is enabled, but may not be fully support (Pc says), I do not see the option to disable the Legacy Boot. I have a Bootable USB stick with Rufus Beta 4.6 which removes 24H2 hardware restrictions.
Will anybody help me with getting the GPT partition or UEFI boot working? I will include images of how the old HP BIOS looks like.
To my research, I believe the Laptop's APU AMD A4 3300m supports SSE4 instructions (or how it was called)

I think I have found the problem...the processor does not support SSE 4.2 according to these specs:
It indicates the spec is SSE4A

But you should be able to run W11 23H2 just fine on it.

Hi @BlueStrike
What error do you receive, are you sure that the disk is partitioned in GPT or MBR? Did you check the latter in Disk Manager?

Hi, @BlueStrike
You don't need to have a UEFI BIOS to run W11 24H2.
You just need a processor that supports SSE4.2 and POPCNT, which your notebook's processor should support.
Instead of setting up the Rufus partition scheme as GPT, set it up as MBR and check the options you need to bypass the hardware checks. I usually check the option to be able to set up a local account.
Should have no problem afterward if that memory management error doesn't mean your notebook has a bad memory chip.

Turns out I made some progress by Combining Tiny 11 iso with install.wim from 24h2, it didnt install but it's stuck on the windows boot logo for a long time now after rebooting, any troubleshooting tips? Please?

What model AMD processor does your notebook have?
I want to double-check the specs to make sure it supports W11 24H2.
There is one other thing you can do.
If you have the W11 23H2 ISO file install with that, and use the information on the video at the link below to do an in-place upgrade to W11 24H2 using the current ISO file.
