HP Elitebook 8440P

Hello I have hp elitebook 8440p with Nvidea gpu , my processor (i5 520m) has integrated gpu also , but in device manager(in windows 10) i see only Nvidea gpu(photo) ,also in some apps i have a small strips in several buttons or menus ,all time , not in the load. Bios is last , drivers too. How can i enable integrated intel gpu (I also swapped 2 i5 520m and problem didnt changed)

Hi:

 

Your notebook does not have the AMD/Intel switchable graphics.

 

The 8440p's only had either the onboard Intel graphics or the discrete Nvidia graphics adapters, not both.

 

The next model in the Elitebook series (8460p) had the switchable graphics and that was the Intel/AMD switchable graphics.

ok , thanks , but could be a switch or modded bios for it to get access to integrated gpu? And also , how can i calibrate it battery(TD06 and TD06XL)? They charges , but on a small capacity and at windows always shows as 100%. Also i was watching on them with aida64.

You're very welcome.

 

There is no way to turn on the onboard Intel graphics (if the Intel graphics chip even exists on notebooks that came with the Nvidia graphics) that I know of.

 

I have the previous model Elitebook 6930p with the AMD Radeon HD 3450 graphics and that has no Intel GPU either.

Thank you , but i dont have that test in my bios, anything else that can i do?
