Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, yesterday I accidentally tried to intall a OS(primeOS android) and hence I get a GRUB GNU BOOT MENU when I turn on the laptop. In the boot menu I get options like primeOS, primeOS(Debug Mode), and Windows 10. I however manually select the windows 10 OS and turn on the laptop. Since I wanted to delete the prime OS and to get rid of the GRUB GNU boot menu, I first reset the PC with complete full disk clean option as selected. But still I get the option of GRUB GNU BOOT MENU after completely reseting my laptop. I think so I made a mistake by accidently installing the primeOS in the C drive. Please help in completely deleting the primeOS and to permanantly removnig the GRUB GNU BOOT MENU. Pleae help me out.

What you need to do is rewrite the default boot loader so it points now to Win10.

You can do that using another PC and the directions listed below ...

1) Download and install Macrium Reflect (MR) from this link on a working PC: http://www.macrium.com/reflectfree.aspx
2) Use the option to create a boot USB stick or CD

That will create MR bootable media. Then, you can boot your PC into WinPE using that media.

Have patience, as that can take a while to start and bring up the screen.

Once the screen is there, select the option to Fix Windows boot problems. It will then search for the OSs installed and list them, Select the one you want to repair and click Next.

It will now do the repairs, listing the things it has done.

When finished, select the option to Restart the PC.

If this worked, the boot repair succeeded and you will have your PC back.
