HP Recommended

I have seen on HP's question and answer forum there three people have posted that they called HP for customer support and were transferred to a company names Geek Tech Care.  One of them said they were charged $200 by GTC.  The same thing happened to me, but it cost me $2200.  They told me it was for a lifetime tech support membership.  I thought I was okay since HP transferred me to them, but a month later when I called to take advantage of my membership, the Geek Tech Care number had been disconnected and there was no information online, except for a man in Florida who's name came up whten I entered the phone number online.  Obviously, I've been scammed.  I have tried to deal with this closer to when it happened, but I received no help.  The CTC rep that I talked to mentioned the Sonic Wall company several times and I contacted them, but they had no record of this company and said they didn't do businesses, like individuals like me--that they only dealt with businesses.  Please help if anyone can.
