I need to wipe my hard drive clean due to a virus that is shutting down things and making it run really slow so i will need to reinstall windows. There is a product key on the bottom of the lap top but when I go to the Microsoft site to download Windows it says to contact the seller maker of the computer because they installed the progam.. Its crazy to try to find a person to talk to at HP. The shop wants $135 to do that bur I've already backed up all my files and pictures so I figured I could wipe it and reinstall Windows if I could only get a copy to work with my key code.
Thanks
Bob

Windows 7 Home Premium or Pro?
Microsoft made .iso files available for download for OEM copies until 2015. Then they pulled them but there are a few mirror sites out there.
