Pavilion N201AX
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I want to Go Back to Windows 8.1 which came pre-installed with my computer. It came with my Computer but I upgraded 1yr ago so Roll Back option is greyed-out. The HP Recovery Manager was deleted with Windows 8.1. Microsoft Recovery Manager is not showing Windows 8.1 in target os. So how can I roll back?

Hi:

Run the free utility that I zipped up and attached below that will show you the W8.1 product key in the BIOS and the version of W8.1 that the product key is good for.   Is should be for W8.1 or W8.1 single language.

Post the results of the report for the version of Windows the product key is good for.

Do not post the product key itself.

This is the report of the OEM version of W8.1 in my PC's BIOS for example.

OEM Edition: Win 8.1 RTM Professional OEM:DM

After you provide that information, I will give you a free way to clean install W8.1.
