HP Chromebook
Chrome OS

I came across the  "Auto Update Policy" on the Google Chrome support site. It has a table of "Google Approved Chrome Devices" with Auto Update Expiration Date (AUED) for each.

My current Chromebook model 14-q050ca appears to have an AUED of June 2019 but I can't really tell for sure. So far it is updating the OS without issue and I'm happy with the performance so don't have any reason to upgrade.

I've been looking at new Chromebooks and found model 14-ca030nr for sale on Amazon and would like to know for sure what the AUED is before I buy one, but the description the give doesn't include a product description that matches anything on the Google table.

Thanks

It's been a while since I've been a student, just don't see a way to change that on my profile.

This may not be of much help, unless you can try what I did.
I received a notification that it was the final update on my HP CB 14 in June. Before that I was not aware of Google's AUED. Since you are still receiving updates, yours has to be later than June 2019.
I am trying to find out what the Auto Update Expiration date is for another Chromebook 14, but the model number is not listed on the Google site.
I chatted with sales, and then called technical support, but neither could provide the answer to my question. Frustrated, I found your post.
I then chatted with HP sales again to find out the release date for the model I am interested in. The second agent was much more knowledgeable and helpful. The release date is earlier this year, which is a good sign, but not conclusive. However, she is contacting HP engineering to see if they can answer my question.
