HP Notebook

My computer went into auto repair out of nowhere last night. I stumbled across a feed in the forum directing someone to running a system test. My test failed.

failure ID : 9LTQ7T-7T6ALH-XD7WLK-60R203

product ID : P1A95UA#ABA

Hard drive 1
If my computer is dead, is there any way I can retrieve the pictures off of it?

Hi:

Below is the failure report generated by the code you posted, minus your notebook's serial number.

You will need to install a new hard drive, and reinstall the operating system.

Below is the link to the service manual, where you can find the hard drive removal and replacement procedure...

You can see if you can recover any data from the drive after you remove it, by purchasing a SATA to USB cable.

Plug the cable in the drive and the other end into a working PC's USB port and see if you can read/copy and files from the failed drive to the PC.

Something like this...
