Hello,
I'm currently trying to fix my mother's laptop, and have discovered that the Hard Drive had failed. I'm guessing I'll have to back everything up regardless, but I was hoping someone could tell me what this failure ID means as HP has done a horrendous job of making this information easily accessible. I tried calling their tech support line, but was told I'd have to pay $15/month to get access to their tech support, which is absurd.
Would anyone be able to identify the following Failure ID, or direct me to someone who can?

Thank you!

Hi, @Mike347
Below is the error code report...You will need to install a new hard drive and reinstall the operating system.
U0D6W2-7S6A54-GXGJMF-60XN03 | OK | Deleted | 6/12/20 | 303 | Storage | Floppy Drive, Hard Drive, Memory Drive, Optical Drive, SCSI, Tape Drive | Hard Disk 1 Quick Test Failure |
Below is the link to the service manual, where you can find the hard drive removal and replacement procedure.

After you replace the drive, you can reinstall W10 for free by using the media creation tool to create a bootable W10 installer.

After W10 has completed installing, you can install the drivers and available software from the PC's support page.
