Product: HP Pavilion dv6-6160sx Entertainment Notebook PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

MY SYSTEM IS NOT STABLE WITH WINDOWS 10 I NEED BIOS UPDATE FOR 5CH1341V7Q PRODUCT SINCE IT IS RETIRED.

I HAVE UPGRATED THIS LAPTOP TO 16gb RAM AND 1 TB SSD DRIVE.

What BIOS version is your notebook on now?

 

The newest version I can find is F.1B.

 

Also note that since your notebook was never supported by HP for W10, the BIOS updates were only written to be run on W7.

You're very welcome.

 

That is correct because I don't know what will happen if you run the update in W10.

 

It might work fine, or it might wreck your notebook permanently.
