My laptop turned off while I was away from it for a couple of hours and none of the standard suggestions work. I took it to a laptop repair place and they said HP would need to fix it. But I can't reach HP on the phone to even explain the problem. I would like to just have someone fix it or tell me it can't be fixed. My hard drive is recoverable so if worst comes to worst I can buy another laptop and plug in my hard drive. Does anyone know how to reach some one who can help? All that is happening is the power buton light goes on and the CAPS light blinks 5 times slow then 3 times fast . No other signs of life. I am told its a component that starts all the other components on the laptop. So does anyone know where to go to get help. Should I just buy another laptop and plug in my hard drive? My entire business is on the laptop so i don't have time for a long solution. Will my HP harddrive fit into other brands of laptop?
