Hi @MIKEYD75,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your laptop!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Create a Bootable USB Drive with Windows 11

Download Windows 11 Installation Media:

Prepare USB Drive:

  • Use a USB drive with at least 8GB of space.
  • Plug the USB drive into your computer.

Run Media Creation Tool:

  • Open the downloaded Media Creation Tool.
  • Accept the license terms.
  • Select "Create installation media (USB flash drive, DVD, or ISO file) for another PC" and click "Next."
  • Choose the language, edition, and architecture (64-bit) for Windows 11 and click "Next."
  • Select "USB flash drive" and click "Next."
  • Choose your USB drive from the list and click "Next."
  • The tool will download Windows 11 and create the bootable USB drive.

Install Windows 11

Connect Bootable USB Drive:

  • Plug the USB drive with Windows 11 installation files into your HP 14-dq0070nr.

Boot from USB Drive:

  • Turn on the laptop and immediately press Esc repeatedly to open the Startup Menu.
  • Press F9 to open Boot Device Options.
  • Select the USB drive as the boot device and press Enter.

Windows 11 Installation:

  • The Windows Setup screen will appear.
  • Select your language, time, and keyboard preferences, then click "Next."
  • Click "Install now."
  • Enter the product key if prompted (or click "I don’t have a product key" if you want to activate it later).
  • Select the Windows 11 edition you want to install and click "Next."
  • Accept the license terms and click "Next."
  • Choose "Custom: Install Windows only (advanced)".
  • Select the unallocated space on your drive (or partition where you want Windows 11 installed) and click "Next."

Complete Installation:

  • Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
  • After the installation is complete, Windows 11 will boot up and you will proceed with the initial setup.

I hope this helps.
