Product: HP 15-1233wm
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am trying to fix a friends HP 15-1233wm Laptop Computer.  The hard drive is fried and he never made restore disks.

 

I can not find much about the computer... How can I get some disks?   Can I download an ISO of the disk from anywhere?

@Gar-Dog, welcome to the forum.

 

I believe the model of the laptop is 15-f233wm.  Here is the Software and Drivers Download page.  There is a section for ordering the Recovery Media.  If HP doesn't have the disks, you may find them here.

Since the laptop originally came with Windows 10, you could order the restore DVDs, but why?

Use Microsoft's Media Creation Tool and create your own bootable Windows 10 install USB flash drive for free.

The product key embedded on the motherboard will activate Windows 10.
