Product: HP 15-g019wm

I bought a computer from a pawn shop and it has a startup pasword on it and they will not return it so now I am stuck with a laptop I cannot use is there anyway to reset the CMOS to clear this password?

Hi,

 

At the password screen, hit enter 3 times and you should receive a 'halt code' - post back with this code.

In the first paragraph I meant to say, I had set 2 passwords on the BIOS. My voice to text interpreted that wrong and said Percocet I believe LOL that's what I get for not proofreading what I say compared to what my phone interprets 🙂
