Product: HP Notebook 17-ca1065cl
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

This was a great laptop for $500 at COSTCO. The 12 GIGS of RAM won me over but why does this laptop take close to five minutes to bootup? I have done every HP diagnostic test including updating the BIOS.

 

Is it Windows 10 that is slowing it down?

 

No luck getting any warranty help from HP due to the pandemic.

 

Does anyone have any tips or suggestions to speed up the boot up time?  Robert

No, one of my 11 years old machine with only 4GB of RAM running Windows 10 2004 now and its boot up time is less than 50 seconds.

Thanks for the tips. I will try them all but probably not the reinstall of Windows 10. This is a fairly new HP so I will likely hold off on that.
