HP 245 G8 Notebook PC (443K2AV)

Hi All,

My Son has performed the factory reset and thereafter a week laptop stopped booting up. It always failed with a blue screen with the error message PNP_WATCHDOG.

I have performed all hardware/component tests from the BIOS and all are passed.

I have downloaded Win-10 and Win-11(tried both) in an external USB and tried to boot from it and it ended up with the same bluescreen and PNP_WATCHDOG error.

I have refreshed the BIOS after downloading it from HP support site, but the result is still the same.

HP team has sent me a recovery disk of Win-10, but the result is the same.

There is no external hardware like mouse, printer etc are attached to the laptop.

If I press F11 on BIOS screen, it won't show any further screen and instead started showing HP logo with Preparing Automatic Recovery and result is same, after couple of mins blue screen with PNP watchdog error.

So, someone could please advise me on what could be the main root cause and how can I fix it?
