I've got a HP 250 G5 with a drivelock which I can't remember the password and windows setup is unable to format the drive 

I don't really care about the data inside I just need a way to format it so my daughter can use it for her research project 

My s/n:CND6367WSL 

Please I need help

Use diskpart to format the disk

When you use diskpart you delete all partitions, you should do that first delete the partitions

see the following link to delete a partition, this allows the disk to have no more information. Remember the diskpart command must be used from a USB installation not from windows.
