Hi there
I have purchased a note book from eBay the HP 255 G7 Notebook, the item arrived as described and in perfect condition, however on loading into windows 10 I've quickly come to realise that the machine has Windows 10 education basic, on the HDD and is hitting me with admin restrictions on pretty much any action I take.
Attempted to wipe the HDD with my media creation tool USB key from my desktop pc and when entering BIOS was asked for a password have forced system disabled code of 76030323.
any advice is appreciated as the seller has not responded to any emails and PayPal & eBay are not much better at the moment in my own opinion.
Thanks Damian

Sorry, but there is really nothing we can do for you about this.
We are not allowed to provide workarounds to Disable codes, nor are we allowed to assist with BIOS password issues -- so we can't help you with those.
I would have expected that a new laptop would have come with Win10 Pro or Home, not Education -- and since you did not buy this from HP, there is nothing we can do about that, either.
I thought e-bay had a liberal return/refund policy -- which is why so many people use it? But, I don't use it -- so I can't provide you any advice in this regard. Sorry
I am a volunteer and I do not work for, nor represent, HP
