Had this problem ever since I got the laptop, none of the usb ports are functional, right from the bios, the only one functional being the type C port. I've been able to somewhat bypass this issue by using a usb C to usb A adaptor, but it's been super inconvenient to not have the other usb ports available.
I've tried updating the bios, tried changing power management settings, checked the bios to see whether usb was enabled, and it was, updated drivers, and none of this fixed the issue.
I suspect it's a hardware problem, the one solution I haven't tried was to take the laptop to a repair center, but I'm still hoping this can somehow be fixed in software.
