HP 27FW 27inch
macOS 10.13 High Sierra

Hey!

Ive just bought the HP 27FW monitor to use with MacBook Pro  13”  2017-2018 model.

After connecting by HDMI am adjusting all possible screen settings that’s I can find the picture is still very blurry. Use of PowerPoint, excel and any other applications is alimony impossible.

Does anyone know if these monitors are compatible with Mac and if so how to get the picture resolution clear and sharp?

Any help appreciated!!

Hi @LK101

It's possible that the display resolution on the computer might be set to something other than the native display resolution of the display. Enabling Auto Adjustment or resetting the monitor may resolve the issue. Here is how to do it:

1.) Restart the computer.

2.) Press the Auto button on the front of the display to run Auto Adjustment. If issue persist, use the next step to reset the monitor

3.) Use the buttons on the front of the display to open the on-screen menu, and select Factory Reset or Default.

Let me know how it goes!
