Sorry that driver didn't work either.
I just don't get it.
I know that Windows Update has the drivers for that device, but the ones I see on the Microsoft Update Catalog site are old.
And I would imagine you have already tried updating the driver by using the automatic search as well.
But if not, you have nothing to lose by giving it a try.

The automatic search offers an old version that does not work - see first picture.
Why is an old version also offered on the HP website and at HP Softpaq?
Don't you have such a device in stock where you can test it?

I'm like you...I don't work for, or represent HP.
I just try to do my best to help other forum members.
I don't have an 820 G2, but as I wrote earlier, I have a 350 G1 which has the same 3D driveguard hardware version (HPQ6007).
No issues whatsoever with that device, and any of the drivers I posted.
It also works with the new Spring Creators Update (v1803).
Unfortunately, I have run out of any ideas to fix the problem you are having with that particular model Elitebook.

You're very welcome.
Hopefully, someone will be able to figure out this mystery.
Please post back and let us know how you were able to resolve this problem.
It's just a matter of time before something fixes it.
