Anybody out there know a quick and simple way to reset the pin? I don't want to factory reset and lose all my files. Solutions? Or am I just screwed. I've tried command prompt. It won't even let me see the command prompt screen. I'm running windows 10.

Login using your windows password

If you forgot your windows password you can use the password that was used to activate windows and you can have that password reset by Microsoft as explained here.

There are a number of apps that are advertised as able to unlock windows passwords. None of them will work if bitlocker is enabled. Note that bitlocker is enabled by default in windows 10 and 11.

 

Once you log in your can reset the "hello pin"
