Result after execution SP82755 and SP82228
  1. In device manager HP Mobile Data Protection Sensor, driver: 20-9-2017 (6.0.22.1), Hardware-id: HPQ6007
    This device works correctly
  2. Software 3D Driveguard is not running (there is no icon on taskbar), but this is now no longer relevant in my situation (HDD replaced by SSD).

Try this newer version:

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp82001-82500/sp82228.exe

Unfortunately sp82228 is not the solution for this issue.

HP Pavilion 15-p045nd:

  1. there is no icon on taskbar
  2. HP Mobile Data Protection Sensor in Device Manager: … blocked from starting  (Code 48)

Install this patch for 3D Driveguard released by HP couple of days ago:
