Hello,
I am wondering if you will be able to help me.
I had issue with my laptop recently where the laptop just wont turn on, just flashing lights on KB and fan will spin fast.
I took the laptop to a repair shop while I was abroad and they managed to repair it
for me by flashing a BIOS and everything was OK, until I noticed that my fingerprint reader was not working..
The laptop does not show the "Reset FingerPrint on Next Reboot" option in BIOS either
I have checked it every section of the BIOS. I also dont see the BIOMETRIC fingerprint reader in Device manager.
So from my understanding , I can tell that the BIOS dump they have put on my laptop was not from a laptop with fingerprint hardware on it or this option has not being enabled in that BIOS.
I bought this CH341 programmer and I need help with reflashing the BIOS with that.
I do know my motherboard has 2 BIOS chips(CPU side,EC side) . one at front one at back and they both needs to be programmed correctly.
I just need the BIOS files for my model which has the fingerprint feauture enabled in it.
My motherboard details below
Corvette-6050A3217501-MB-A01(A1)(1086) L2
my laptop is
4P8M2EC#ABU
