Hello. I've never received an update notification like this before and I want to check that it's legit. On windows update it said that hp inc. - firmware - 15.23.0.0 needed to be installed and that I needed to restart my computer. I restarted it and got the message 'HP BIOS update version 3.9.1.1. An important system BIOS update is available'. I postponed the update. Should I install this BIOS update?

I'm suspicious of it because I tried to connect to a virgin WiFi hotspot on my laptop yesterday using a tip from a forum which said to use username: vmedwifi/'email used with virgin media account' and your password. My dad says that may have been a phishing attempt and now I'm a bit scared that my computer's infected.
