Hello,

i wanted to ask if there is a HP Battery Health Manager for the HP Laptop 17-cn2157ng? The goal would be to charge the battery  just up to 60-80% in hope for higher battery life. I checked the BIOS settings and i don't have the " Advanced > Power Management Options" settings availible.

Your notebook may come with a Battery Optimizer setting.

The Battery Health Manager option is for HP business-class notebooks.

Hello Paul,
thank you for your help.
I found the adaptive Battery Optimizer setting in the Bios.
How does it prolong lifespan ? Its not very specific. 
Does the battery just charge to 80% ?  Is there any more information ?
