ProBook 450 G6
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I just bought a new HP ProBook laptop which has the following bloatware installed:

HP Client Security Manager
HP Connection Manager
HP Sure Click
HP Notifications
HP Support Assist

I've uninstalled most the above HP bloatware but the following services are still running as Automatic:

HP Analytics
HP App Helper HSA
HP Hotkey UWP
HP LAN/WLAN/WWAN Switching UWP
HP Network HSA
HP System Info HSA

This is poor software engineering. Are any of these useful and which can be disabled e.g. using Autoruns?

Hello @Steve489

You can disable them all - they are not essential part of the operating system and your PC will work even without them.

Some functions such as hotkey support or automatic switching between LAN/WLAN may not work if you disable

  • HP Hotkey UWP
  • HP LAN/WLAN/WWAN Switching UWP

Some of the applications you have uninstalled already are useful with specific users and scenarios. You can google them for detailed articles/description what they are used for.
