Used USB stick to try to recover (A few times) but still gives message " Your system is repairing itself. Please wait. " but eventually goes black screen and back to the same message.
Also tried Control-D but no go as well.

Hi
Outside of HP, Google sometimes has some help... Powerwash.

So to recover a system with a USB you would need a working USB and an area, usable and large enough to take the install.
Could there be a problem with the Hard Disk? Hard Drive -- 16 GB eMMC

If in doubt please ask.

Thanks for your reply. Powerwash and recovery as you suggested did not work so I am kind of thinking like yourself if might be the storage. Thanks for the link to the manual, that will be a great help. I will do my best to respond back here after I make my next move. Thanks again.
