Chromebook 11A G8 EE
Chrome OS

This has happened on multiple Chromebooks (HP Chromebook 11A G8 EE) recently at my School District. Chrome OS is missing or damaged. Tried powerwashing the devices a few times with USB stick (Chromebook Recover Utility, downloaded latest version). I keep getting the "An unexpected error has occurred" after it runs through the "verifying the integrity of the recovery media". The same USB sticks have worked 90% of the time on all other Chromebooks that are the same model (HP Chromebook 11A G6 EE/ HP Chromebook 11A G8 EE). I have tried different USB sticks from other manufacturers and get the same error. Is there something else that I can try for recovery? Both USB ports are recognizing the recovery device. I have never had this issue with any other HP Chromebook models with the Intel CPU.  I am noticing a lot of issues with the AMD CPU Chromebooks like not powering on after being in Sleep Mode and now the unexpected error while trying to do a simple powerwash.
