Product: HP Chromebook - 14a-na0031wm

Two weeks ago I had the "black screen of death" come up on my HP Chromebook. I did a hard reset and it came back to normal. Now, the black screen is back and the hard reset isn't working. It isn't even charging.  Of course the warranty expired about 4 months ago. Can anyone help me? I expect that taking it to a computer repair shop will cost more than outright replacing it, which I don't want to have to do.
