HP Recommended

I have the same problem. I've gotten the OS corrupt/missing screen a half-dozen times over the past several months. At first I couldn't get the recovery to work at all. Then I tried a different USB stick, which seemed to help so it least the Chromebook went through the recovery process. But then it only works for a couple of days before the "missing/corrupt OS" screen appears again and I have to start all over again. This is the device my daughter uses for school and homework, so this situation is a significant problem for us.

Ideally I'd like HP to post some public suggestions/solutions. If that is not possible, I'd like HP to send me one of those "private" links to start a case.
