Hello Community,

i did something wrong with my OS (i tried to change my GBT system to a MBR system so i could encrypt it with VeraCrypt) 

 

I installed HP Cloud Recovery and made a USB Hard Drive to boot from. Unfortunately i got an Error showing:

 

This Computer is not supportet by the System Recovery Media.

 

You will not be able to continue to recover this system with these Media.

 

Error: 0120-0000-0005

 

Obviously i did something wrong but i cant tell what it is. I wrote my correct Product Number and i´ve choosed Win 10 64x as i got before on my notebook

 

Can somebody please help me, thank you very much!

Hi:

 

Unfortunately, no one here would be able to help you with that.

 

What you can do as an alternative to having a non-working notebook, is to clean install W10 by making bootable installation media using the Media creation tool at the link below.   Make the 64 bit installation media.

After W10 has completed installing, you can install the drivers and available software from your notebook's support page.
