So, downloading linux may have broken my laptop, I tried using the Hp cloud recovery tool as basically the final resort after multiple hours of trying different ways to fix my installation. All just to end up with it telling me "Error, Can't find boot disc" at the end of it all. I've tried to reinstall windows 11 but had some problems with the 9A0B or whatever it may be drivers not working, tried the microsoft media creation tool, rufus, balena etcher and a couple more but to no avail. I'm really hoping there's a fix for this I can perform myself and any sort of support would help a great amount. Also not sure how important this is but when checking the boot loader there is a windows option, trying to use it only flashes system reset momentarily then it boots back into linux mint.

I'm honestly just thinking of taking it to some random laptop repair shop to let him completely format the ssd and reinstall windows onto it at this point. Think I should do it?

@MusMas,

Sounds like the Windows installer needs to have a storage driver. What is the exact model number or product number of your notebook?

Sorry for the late reply, but it's the "Victus by HP Laptop 16-d0314TX",  I've also added the error messages, first one mentioning not being able to find the boot disk is via the HP Cloud Recovery Support tool and the second is when trying to install it, along with what I believe is to be the correct driver's for it. However, I did manage to end up going to the laptop repair shop where I thought I was getting the normal windows installation, but he ended up using a cracked iso or some of the sort as there were many random preinstalled apps and malware. And so I'm currently stuck on windows 22H2.  Thank you for taking the time to reply. 20251228_121125.jpg20251228_095827.jpg
