I am replacing the hard drive in my notebook and need the image file to recovery the system as the old hard drive no longer functions. I downloaded the HP Cloud Recovery Tool and launched it in administrative mode. I entered my product id and the application states that the id is not recognized. How do I obtain the image to restore my system on the new hard drive?

It appears that HP has removed support for the cloud recovery tool for your PC since it is 5 years old.
You have two options:
1. Purchase a recovery kit from this vendor at the link below:
2. Clean install W10 by making a bootable USB installation flash drive with the media creation tool from the link below:
After W10 has completed installing, you can install the drivers and available software from the link below:
