Hi,

I am attempting to run the HP Cloud Recovery Tool. The tool identifies my PC Product ID but after clicking next the app returns the error "PLEASE CHECK NETWORK CONNECTION AND MAKE SURE THAT SYSTEM TIME AND TIME ZONE SETTINGS ARE CORRECT"

I have rechecked everything and there is no network problem and the time & Time Zone is also correct.

The PC has Windows 11 installed whereas it came with Windows 10 from HP.

Please let me know how to resolve this error.

Hi:

 

What I suggest you do is to use the cloud recovery tool on another PC to create the recovery media.

 

You will need to enter the entire product number in the tool's search window to proceed.

 

Your PC's product number looking at the screenshot is 4CJ13AV#ABA.

 

The only reason I can think of as to why you are getting that error is because the tool has detected that your notebook is sold and made for use in the United States of America and so it is confused by your local UAE date and time settings.

 

I assume if you use the tool on another PC and manually enter the product number, it shouldn't matter.
