Hello Community,

 

since about a week the HP Cloud Recovery Tool 2.10.1.17 is no longer working.  I used it to create USB Sticks with the OS and drivers for our HP Z4 G4 and HP Z8 Fury G5.

 

I tried the different systems to create the new USB stick with the Tool and changed USB Sticks ... no luck.No cloud.png

 

Is the service down or has been canceled by HP? Can anyone please confirm it's status. Thank you.

Hi,

 

thank you for pointing me to the new version. I uninstalled the older version and installed the new version. On both platfforms HP Z4 G4 and HP Z8 Fury G5 no change - the exact same behavior. The Cloud Recovery Tool stalls at 50% :

... nothing happens on HP Z8 Fury G5 or HP Z4 G4 ... after a few minutes this shows up:

... so it would really helpful, if someone can confirm the tool is working or if there is a service problem.

Since this is a peer to peer forum, and we don't work for or represent HP, the best I can do is to ask the HP forum community manager to report the issue to department responsible for maintaining the HP client recovery servers.

 

I'm inclined to believe that there is a technical issue, and not that the client recovery program has been discontinued.
